Buffalo & More

Saturday June 11th This will be my last blog, so here goes!! On our way to Fort Abraham Lincoln in North Dakota, near Bismarck, we stopped at Jamestown to see the World's Largest Buffalo. Jamestown has this Buffalo Museum & a cute western town you can spend the day at. We didn't have that kind of time since we are hurrying home. Fort Abraham Lincoln. We arrived with a 1 hour till closing, so we quickly walked through. Infantry post. Many things were rebuilt because the settlers used all the wood from the old Fort. A beautiful view. They have a campground there too! The Cavalry post & barracks General Custer served there, & this was a home of his. This was called "On a Slant" Indian Village. The Mandan people lived in those big dirt mound homes. Sunday, June 12th. This became a great day! First we went to church in Bismarck, where they also have a temple.
